Steve Carpenter: Vice President of Finance and Administration at VPCC. Worked in the private sector for a decade before joining the City of Newport News. During his time there, served in various capacities, including human resource manager, budget manager, and finally CFO/Enterprise manager for Newport News Waterworks.
After a nearly 15-year career in Newport News, was hired as vice president for finance and administration at the College.
Completed undergraduate work at Christopher Newport and Old Dominion University, and earned master’s degree from Regent University.
