Virginia Peninsula Community College’s Automotive Technology Certificate program provides hands-on training and foundational knowledge for those looking to start a career in the automotive industry. This program covers essential areas with classes dedicated to subjects like engine performance, electrical diagnostics, and vehicle maintenance, which will prepare students for entry-level technician roles.

With instruction from industry-experienced faculty and access to modern automotive tools and equipment, students will gain the practical skills needed to succeed in repair shops, dealerships, and service centers.

Courses Offered: Automotive courses in this program are offered at the Hampton Campus in the daytime and evening, and take place in our Automotive Lab building.
