Benefits Program Specialist

The Benefits Program Specialist Career Studies Certificate prepares students for roles in the human services field by providing practical experience in various organizations and agencies. The curriculum includes courses that develop critical thinking, professional skills, and effective communication — including HMS 162 – Communication Skills for Human Services Professionals, HMS 226 – Helping Across Cultures, HMS 290 – Coordinated Internship in Human Services and more.
