The Foundations of Criminal Justice Career Studies Certificate is designed to prepare students for an entry level position in the criminal justice field and to provide promotional opportunities for individuals currently working in the criminal justice field. This curriculum provides foundational knowledge of the criminal justice system.

Students will be prepared for employment in entry level positions in various fields which are related to the criminal justice system. They will receive a broad exposure to the criminal justice world, through Administration of Justice classes such as ADJ 100 – Survey of Criminal Justice, ADJ 211 – Criminal Law, Evidence & Procedures I, ADJ 133 – Ethics and The Criminal Justice Professional, and others.

The Foundations of Criminal Justice Career Studies Certificate requires a student complete 16 credit hours of classes to complete the program.
