Supervision

The Supervision Career Studies Certificate prepares students with prior work experience to take the next step in their careers, as they enter the realm of supervision and management. The curriculum for the Supervision program includes classes like BUS 111 – Principles of Supervision I, CST 100 – Principles of Public Speaking, BUS 235 – Business Letter Writing and other essential courses.

This certificate program equips candidates with essential skills for entry-level and mid-level management positions, setting them apart from those lacking these skills.

Educational or Occupational Objectives: Students acquire knowledge and skills needed to balance task objectives and human relations and can apply them to achieve organizational outcomes. Problem solving, collaboration, and effective communication are emphasized.

Possibilities: This certificate is a great complement to our Business Principles Career Studies Certificate. Students develop specific and valuable skills needed to manage people and tasks.
