The Office of Institutional Research (IR) supports institutional effectiveness and equitable student outcomes by providing timely, accurate, and actionable data and insights to inform decision-making. We ensure data integrity, governance, and accessibility, while supporting research activities, accreditation, and compliance reporting. In Academic Year 2023-2024 Virginia Peninsula Community College served 9,012 students (unduplicated headcount) in credit instruction, making it the sixth largest college within the Virginia Community College System in terms of headcount.
