Templin Hall is a 49,143-square foot education and performing arts building, constructed in 2002. The building also is home to an auditorium, classrooms, laboratories, and faculty and staff offices.
The building has been closed for classes and to the public since the spring 2020 semester as part of the College’s response to the COVID-19 pandemic. During the time of closure, part of the roof collapsed in April 2021. Construction of the new roof began in December 2023, and is scheduled to be completed in the spring of 2025.
At that point, the visual arts will return to their home on the Hampton Campus — as will the performing arts. With that, the community can expect the return of visual arts shows and live performances of all kinds, including dance shows, theater productions, and more.
