Open-Mic Poetry Gathering, Feb. 19
Bring your poetry and spoken word talent to the masses with Thomas Nelson's open-mic Poetry Coffeehouse Series. Sponsored by Student Life and Leadership, the open-mic gatherings will take place at campuses in Hampton and the Historic Triangle, Williamsburg.
Students, faculty, staff and community members are welcome to share their original prose or favorite poem. Featuring English faculty and library staff as facilitators, the free series will also include refreshments.
Also open to spectators, the 1 - 2 p.m. Poetry Coffeehouse Series will take place in the library at the Historic Triangle campus, and Diggs Hall's room 158 in Hampton with a different theme each month.
