Information Session on Saving for College Feb. 25

Stressing about saving money for college? Whether for your children, grandchildren or yourself, higher education is a major expense. A free information session presented by Virginia529 Tuesday, Feb. 25 at the Hampton campus can help put some worries to rest by showing you how to save for higher education.

The 3 - 4 p.m. session in Hampton III, room 717 will cover:

• Saving for tuition and other college costs, such as housing and textbooks,
• Taking advantage of tax-free earnings and the Virginia state tax deduction,
• And, most importantly, meeting individual savings goals.
