Thomas Nelson's Educational Foundation is funding a new scholarship, called "Finish What You Started." It's for high school students who are graduating in spring 2020 and have earned at least 15 credits at Thomas Nelson through dual enrollment.

This is a last-dollar scholarship, which means it will cover the gap between financial aid and the full cost of college. The goal for this scholarship is to allow students to complete two years of a baccalaureate degree with no debt.

A letter announcing the scholarship went out recently to all dual enrollment students. Kris Rarig, the Vice President for Student Affairs, is preparing to follow up with emails to those students, as well. She noted the College's "spring 2020 dual enrollment courses are on track and will end in June, when the normal high school year ends."

In the 2018-19 academic year, the Thomas Nelson Educational Foundation offered 140 scholarships totaling more than $200,00 to 313 students. Learn more at tncc.edu/scholarships.
