TECHNOLOGY TOOLS
Feeling overwhelmed by technology? Help is here! The VCCS eLearning and Educational Technology committee organizes and conducts webinars on various technology and pedagogi­cal topics, such as the use of different tools in Canvas, Zoom and Google. These webinars are Live and recorded. A new series starts September 28. Learn more. All recorded sessions can be accessed here.

WEBINAR WEDNESDAYS
Join fellow faculty and staff for facilitated conversations on current teaching and learning topics. No registration required but participants are asked to view the assigned Go2Knowledge webinar in advance of the live facilitated con­versation. Learn more.

TABLE TALK THURSDAYS
Join us from 3-4 p.m. each Thursday from Oct. 1 through Nov. 19 for an hour of networking and conversation with your peers across the system. Even though connecting face-to-face is on hold, we can still talk about the things that are important to us! These informal sessions will have a topic and some questions to consider for conversation but no formal agenda. No regis­tration required. Learn more.

TRAUMA INFORMED CERTIFICATION COURSE
The Student Success Center is offering a 6-hour trauma-informed certification course 1 to help us learn how to deal with the impact of trauma and build resilience. There is no cost for VCCS employees. Registration is open for September and October cohorts but space is filling fast. Learn more.

VA Transparency in Learning & Teaching (TILT) Initiative: Call for Research Partners
The Virginia Educational Development Network, in partnership with the State Council of Higher Education for Virginia (SCHEV), is planning a cross-institutional educational development initi­ative and applied research project on transparent assignment design. Scholars (including ad­vanced graduate students) who are interested in equity in teaching and learning are invited to join the research team. Virtual Exchange Program Seeking Facilitators
The Global Solutions Sustainability Challenge is a program funded by the Department of State but at no cost to the faculty participating. It is an established virtual collaboration opportunity between U.S. community colleges and universities in the Middle East.
