Thomas Nelson Community College and BlackBRAND collaborated on a Black History Month virtual event Feb. 26-27 called "Family Matters." The two-day event featured guest speakers from a variety of fields related to family. Topics included how to become financially sound, how to cook on a tight budget, the power of networking, and how to start your own business. There also was a writing workshop.
