Fresh off of Wednesday's successful virtual Professional Development Day, the College Support Staff Association (CSSA) is preparing for another busy period.

First up is the group's general membership meeting March 18 from 3-4 p.m. through Microsoft Teams.

In addition, nominations for the CSSA person of the year are being accepted via Google Forms through March 19. You will need to go to https://forms.gle/Mf3e8koS8M5LZjgt6, then enter your MyTNCC username and password to access the form. Individuals who are nominated should support CSSA in some way. The CSSA executive board will review the nominees and announce the winner at its April 22 general membership meeting.

Elections for 2021-22 also are underway. In the upcoming term, positions that need to be filled are president- elect; Hampton campus vice president; Historic Triangle campus vice president; secretary; treasurer; and the following at-large members: two individuals for the Hampton campus, one for the Historic Triangle campus and one for Workforce Development.

To learn more about the role and responsibilities of these positions, and to submit your nominations, use the same link as above. The nomination period will remain open through April 23.
