Faculty-Staff Innovators Grant Application Deadline Oct. 31

The College's Educational Foundation is accepting new grant proposals through the Faculty-Staff Innovators Grant Program to award funding of up to $5,000.

All full-time and part-time faculty, staff and administrators are eligible to apply with a supervisor's approval before the application is submitted. The deadline is to apply is Oct. 31.

The Faculty-Staff Innovators Grant serves to provide funding for projects that are not supported by the existing College budget to advance the mission, vision and strategic planning objectives of the College. The program also serves to focus college-wide attention on solutions to improve academic and workforce programs as well as activities that can promote advancement of one or more strategic goals.

Since its inception, the program has helped launch or sustain numerous efforts. Among projects established through this funding source is the food pantry on campuses in Hampton and Williamsburg. Called the Care Team Cupboard, campus food pantries provide non-perishable food at no cost for students and College personnel who are in need.
