The College's Care Team will present its spring Pop-Up Clothes Closet next month at the Hampton campus.
On Monday, March 20, volunteers will accept donations of clean gently-used and new items 8 a.m.– 5 p.m. in Wythe Hall Gallery.
Your donations of clothing, shoes, backpacks, toiletries and more suitable for men, women and children will greatly benefit those at the College who are in need. You may also donate plastic grocery bags as well as large reusable bags and totes any business day dropping off at Griffin Hall, Room 201.
The Pop-Up Clothes Closet will open to students, faculty, and staff in the Wythe Hall Gallery 8 a.m. – 7 p.m. on March 21 and 8 a.m. – 5 p.m. on March 22, unless otherwise announced.
The Care Team, which includes administrators, faculty and staff, aims to create a culture of caring at the College thereby empowering students to succeed.
In addition to sponsoring the clothes closet in fall and spring, the Care Team provides food pantries at VPCC campuses in Hampton and Historic Williamsburg for students and others on campus who are in need. In coordination with the College library, the Care Team also provides an online Resource Guide. Accessible here, the guide identifies numerous helpful resources and services throughout the Peninsula.
