The Virginia Peninsula Community College men’s basketball team lost 77-63 at Paul D. Camp Community College on Wednesday, Jan. 17. The Gators (5-9) were coming off an 86-75 win over Emory Oxford College on Jan. 14.
Changes have been made to the schedule. The game originally set for Saturday, Jan. 27, at Patrick & Henry has been moved to Saturday, Feb. 17. Instead, the Gators will play at Washington Adventist University on Jan. 27. They return home Feb. 3 facing Mountain Gateway. The game will take place at Chrisopher Newport University, and it is scheduled to start at 2 p.m.
Women’s basketball
The women’s game against CNU’s club team scheduled for Saturday, Jan. 20, at CNU was postponed. The schools now will play Wednesday, Jan. 31, at 7 p.m. in the auxiliary gym. The Gators' game scheduled for Saturday, Jan. 27, at Patrick & Henry also has been postponed. It now is scheduled for Saturday, Feb. 17.
Their next game is at home Sunday, Jan. 28, against Central Carolina Community College. Tipoff is scheduled for 3 p.m. at Warwick High School.
