The Virginia Peninsula CISSP course is a vigorous training program designed to prepare practicing security professionals to sit for the CISSP Exam. Classes are held at the Virginia Peninsula Hampton Campus. Visit the CISSP Certification website to review requirements.

Prerequisites

  • Participant must show proof of having the necessary education, including familiarity with the Common Body of Knowledge (CBK) in security and have the matching work experience to register for this course and qualify for the CISSP certification.
  • Submit resume and or credentials to VPCC Workforce Credentials & Continuing Education, 600 Butler Farm Rd, Hampton, VA 23666 or email scans can be emailed to the Director of Business, Information Technology, & Health Sciences, Eddie Swain.

Exam

One exam voucher will be included. Student is required to take the certification exam within 60-days of the course’s end date and submit successful credential copy immediately after to VPCC Workforce Credentials & Continuing Education, 600 Butler Farm Rd, Hampton, VA 23666 or scans can be emailed to swaine@vpcc.edu. Required textbook purchased separately.
