Cybersecurity for Enterprise

Our Cybersecurity for Enterprise Career Studies Certificate was created to improve skills and provide specialized knowledge in network security. This curriculum prepares students to take the CompTIA Security+ and CompTIA Networking+ Certification exams as a first step in working toward Certified Information Systems Security Professional (CISSP) certification, which is recognized as the top-level standard for cybersecurity practitioners.

Students who earn the Cybersecurity for Enterprise Career Studies Certificate can expect to be qualified for entry-level jobs in cybersecurity. Those jobs include positions such as security operations center (SOC) technicians, digital forensic technicians, and cybersecurity analysts.

Classes in the program will include ITN 109 – Internet and Network Foundations, ITN 170 – Linux System Administration, and ITN 260 – Network Security Basics and more. Students will need to complete 27 credits to earn the career studies certificate.
