The Information Technology Associate of Science Degree at Virginia Peninsula Community College is designed for students aiming to transfer to four-year institutions to complete a bachelor’s degree in Information Technology or related fields. The curriculum provides a solid foundation in areas such as information security, network architecture, database administration, systems administration, and computer support. Those students who complete our program, as well as their two years with our transfer partner, will be well-prepared to pursue careers in multiple IT-related areas.

$169.60 per credit hour $384.20 per credit hour

Students will be exposed to a variety of courses in the field, including ITP 100 – Software Design, ITE 120 – Principles of Information Systems, and many others. Students will need to complete 60 credit hours to complete the program and earn the Associate of Science Degree.

  This program is eligible for the G3 Tution Assistance programs.

Transfer Information: Since four-year institutions can vary in their courses and GPA requirements, please work with a member of our Academic Advising team for specific requirements and course selection. Students enrolled in this two-year transfer program may also be eligible for Passport Courses or Uniform Certificate of General Studies consideration.
