The Financial Aid Office is committed to working with students and parents to provide funding that will help cover the cost of tuition, fees, and other education-related expenses. Financial aid packages can include support from military benefits, scholarships, grants, work-study, and federal student loans. Most financial aid programs are based on the philosophy that the primary responsibility of paying college expenses rests with the student and his/her family. Financial aid is meant to supplement, rather than replace, the family's resources. However, not every student has the resources to pay for college. This is why it is so important that every student completes the FAFSA (to be considered for financial aid support). The FAFSA determines how much financial aid support the student and his/her family can receive each year. 1-2-3 GO Initiative!

STUDENTS: You should ensure at the start of every semester that you have enough funding to cover all (100%) of your tuition, fees, and books. Please review your bill before each semester (in your MyVPCC Student Portal). You may be dropped from your classes if your semester balance is NOT paid in full by the billing due date. The Financial Aid Department is not permitted to release refunds to you until the "last day to drop with a refund" is over. Please visit the Academic Calendar website for the corresponding dates.
