Thomas Nelson offers multiple programs in Advanced Integrated Manufacturing (AIM) and encourages industry feed-back on its program and graduates. Internships with regional manufacturers are an integral component of the AAS in Advanced Integrated Manufacturing and an excellent opportunity for employers to meet the students prior to offering an interview.
Graduates of the career studies certificates in Manufacturing Technology and Mechatronics have earned an industry recognized certification, passed background checks and drug screening and completed the National Career Readiness Certificate at the Silver level or above.
Maurene Bullock joined Thomas Nelson in 2016 as the Job Placement Coordinator supporting the programs in advanced manufacturing. She assists students in resume building, interview techniques and development of workplace competencies and coordinates their placement into advanced manufacturing careers. Maurene invites employers seeking advanced manufacturing technicians to contact her to discuss their hiring needs.
