Photo IDs

All students are required to have a Virginia Peninsula Student ID. When picking up your ID, be sure to bring these documents with you:

  • State or government issued identification such as DMV ID card or Driver’s License
  • Student ID Number, provided after completing your College application

Student IDs are available to pick up at both campuses:

  • Hampton campus, Kecoughtan Hall Library - Room 255A
  • Historic Triangle campus, room 116

Student Parking Permits

The cost of the initial permit for each school year is included in the tuition and fees. A permit must be obtained within ten (10) days of the start of classes. Additional permits (including replacements for lost or stolen permits) can be purchase.

  • Paper applications are available in Room 255A (Inside library). & Room 116 Williamsburg Campus.

Faculty And Staff Parking Permits

The cost of the initial permit for each school year is $30 and must be obtained within ten (10) days of start of school year or employment start date. Additional permits (including replacements for lost or stolen permits) can be purchased for a $15 fee each.

  • Permits will be paid for at the time of pickup in Hampton III, Room 705 using check, money order, or Payroll Deduction. Checks must be made payable to Virginia Peninsula Community College or Virginia Peninsula.
  • A valid Virginia Peninsula employee ID is required when picking up your permit. Employee ID’s can be obtained at the Photo ID office in Kecoughtan Hall Library, Room 255A at no cost. Please Note: a valid state or government picture ID card and SIS emplID is required.
  • Paper applications are available in Kecoughtan Hall Library Room 255A, Hampton III Room 705 and Williamsburg Campus Room 116.
