Sean Crewe's love for music is undeniable. When he found out Thomas Nelson Community College offered an Associate Degree in music, he jumped at the chance to give higher education a try. He earned an Associate of Arts in Liberal Arts with a specialization in Music in May 2015. He used the credits he earned at Thomas Nelson to pursue a Bachelor's Degree at Old Dominion University.
"Music has really inspired me to be the best I can be, and simply enough, I think I'm just wired to pursue higher education. Certain professors have been a great source of inspiration as well. Through their dedication to their work and care for us students, in their own separate ways, they stand out and have helped me," he said. "The College helped me a great deal by having a straight-forward enrollment process, a flexible class-scheduling system and an appreciation of the arts. The availability of a music focus with the Liberal Arts Associate Degree only helps support the Bachelor's Degree that I'm getting," Crewe said.
